Icon of all Pallucco collection, the floor lamp FORTUNY, designed at the beginning of 1900 by the designer Mariano Fortuny, is nowadays a classic of design. Fortuny is considered as a contemporary yet timeless icon even if it took its clue from experiments carried out in 1907 on a new indirect lighting system for the stage. A camera tripod inspired the base with its adjustable central leg. For the shade, Fortuny decided to turn the typical shade of that time upside down and also to make it tilt. Pallucco is offering the Fortuny lamp in various finish options. The framework of the lamp is in profiled steel channel section, drawn flat bar and tubular steel, lacquered epoxy powder finish in different colours.
